In a Bad State: Responding to State and Local Budget Crises by David Schleicher

On September 22nd The State Democracy Research Initiative and the Tommy G. Thompson Center on Public Leadership hosted a talk with Professor David Schleicher of Yale Law School, about his new book "In A Bad State: Responding to State and Local Budget Crises." Together with discussant Professor Michael Ford, of UW Oshkosh, this event examined the legal implications of budget shortfalls in State and Local governments. Professor Schleicher also participated in a Q&A, moderated by Professor Miriam Seifter.

 

Panelists included  Professor Miriam Seifter (UW Law School, SDRI faculty co-director), David Schleicher (Yale Law School), and Michael Ford (UW Oshkosh)
