On October 18th, the State Democracy Research Initiative and the Elections Research Center at UW-Madison hosted the final event in our Election Matters 2024 series: “Safeguarding the Vote: Election Subversion Risks & Responses,” sponsored by Stafford Rosenbaum LLP. Moderated by SDRI Faculty Co-Director Rob Yablon, panelists Kathy Boockvar (Former PA Secretary of State), Professor Rick Hasen (UCLA Law School), Jessica Marsden (Protect Democracy), and Davin Rosborough (ACLU) discussed the range of potential threats to this year's elections, and the important steps we can take to address these threats.
