On November 21st the State Democracy Research Initiative and the People’s Parity Project hosted a virtual panel, “Understanding Judicial Ethics Enforcement.” This panel provided an overview of recent judicial ethics disputes and developments across the country, including in Colorado, Montana, North Carolina, and Wisconsin, and it discussed potential reforms to ensure the fair and effective enforcement of judicial conduct rules. Our panelists included Billy Corriher (People’s Parity Project), Bryna Godar (State Democracy Research Initiative), and Al Smith (Montana Trial Lawyers Association). This panel was moderated by Professor Miriam Seifter (State Democracy Research Initiative).
