@ 3:00 pm - 4:15 pm

The State Democracy Research Initiative and the Elections Research Center at UW-Madison invite you to join us for “Election Matters 2024: Current Challenges to Election Administration” on Friday, March 8th, from 3:00-4:15pm Central Time, with a reception to follow. The event is sponsored by Stafford Rosenbaum LLP. This event will take place in person at the University of Wisconsin Law School, with the option to attend virtually. The event is approved for 1.5 CLE Credits.

Over the last two election cycles, election administrators have worked under increasing pressure and scrutiny to deliver results both quickly and accurately. This panel will address the challenges faced by election administrators in the coming year and assess some solutions we might use to overcome them. Our Panelists will include: Professor Edward Foley (Ohio State Moritz College of Law), Alice Miller (The Election Center), Rachel Orey (Bipartisan Policy Center), and Dr. Mindy Romero (Price School of Public Policy). The panel will be moderated by the Election Research Center’s Director, Professor Barry Burden.
