Sterling Knoche

Sterling Knoche is a Staff Attorney with the State Democracy Research Initiative. His research interests include voting and elections, election administration, and state constitutional law.

Prior to SDRI, Sterling worked at a national non-partisan organization focusing on election anti-subversion work, as well as civic education on the rule of law, judicial independence, and election administration. Before that, he worked as a civil litigator at a mid-sized firm in Madison, Wisconsin.

Sterling earned his J.D. magna cum laude from the University of Wisconsin Law School, and his B.A. with Distinction from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
